ENTERTAINMENT!

The annual Sonic Circuits festival again offers genre-bending sounds and
world-class performances from over 40 artists from the DC Metro area, across
the United States and Europe. This year promises another festival
overflowing with adventurous music and exploratory vision.

The Sonic Circuits festival was initiated by the American Composers Forum
(ACF) to provide DC's music and art communities with the opportunity to
sample experimental and avant-garde electronic music, with an emphasis on
improvisation and artistic use of new technologies. Now heading into its
ninth year, the festival has grown to include electroacoustic compositions,
free jazz, noise rock, electronic drone and experimental folk, live video
mixing and experimental visuals.
