FREE RECORD PLAYER BUILDING WORKSHOP SET FOR NOVEMBER 7
RICHMOND, Va. – Join interdisciplinary artist Erik DeLuca for a free, all
parts included, workshop on how to build a homemade record player on
Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 3 PM at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond.
Workshop participants will then be invited to perform with their newly
constructed record players that evening as a part of the Third Practice
Electroacoustic Music Festival at the University of Richmond’s Modlin Center
for the Arts. Both the workshop and participation in 7:30 PM performance are
free and open to anyone who is fascinated by sound. All ages are encouraged.
