Last night, the "Opening Rejection" successfully launched Audio January, a month long series of sound related events, performances, workshop, improv sessions, installations, lectures, demos, and exhibits at the Bridge in Charlottesville. There was a great turnout. The gallery space is painted and installed with sound-related visuals. Khate and Feralcatscan canceled last minute due to a hand injury. Wendy and Carey of Pinko Communoids played a short set to fill in. Lots of people seemed thrilled about Audio January. Thanks to Carey for organizing the Opening Rejection.
